Sultonxauz is a steppe lake in Boyovut district, 40 km southeast of Guliston. Shallow water ringed by reeds and tamarisk: migrating ducks settle here in spring and autumn and local anglers sit along the bank. A level track runs around the lake, enough for an hour or two.
