Yozyovon is a patch of sandy desert in the north of the Fergana valley, protected as a state natural monument. Almost no unploughed land is left in the valley, which makes it unusual: poppies and desert grasses flower in spring among calligonum and tamarisk. The ground is flat, enough for a one- to two-hour walk.
